Will an ARE High-top cap for a 2018 fit a 2007?

I just bought a 2007 Access Cab and I'm looking for a low cost cap solution. a local craigs list ad has a ARE 2018 cap from a double cab long bed offered and the owner says the bed length is the same as the access cab bed. Any other gotchas or would this work?

Maybe different mounting clamps. Otherwise you’re GTG.

 

It’ll go on but it’ll look and fit like shit. Bed length is the same but bed height and cab contour are different. Depends on how ghetto you’re willing to have it look. I wouldn’t.

 

Inside length is the same but the rear will hang past the tailgate if you just look at the two together.

 

The trend here seems to be to walk away fast... Thanks for preventing a wreck!
