    Just received a “Trustee’s Notice of Proposed Abandonment of Property” in the mail today. Looks like it’s for the house. Can anyone summarize what this means in layman’s terms? I’m not an attorney, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. From a quick search on the internet it seems like we’re still screwed.

    It’s bad. I asked my wife who is a legal admin and she gave me a brief description. It means there was property that was unable to be liquidated and will now be returned to the Pelfreys. Usually that happens when it would cost more to continue to try and liquidate items rather than just leave them with the Pelfreys. It’s probably just personal effects though that hold no value to the general public.
