    Hello

I had an OEM roof rack that I bought from the Toyota dealer and installed, had issues with it leaking after the first good rain, brought it back with new washers and Loctite bolt and water jacket sealant after reading other post regarding same issues, this corrected the problem. I have had them on over a year now and the passenger side has a slight gap, so I went back to Toyota and they removed the one side and looks like the little plastic piece inside broke off that keeps that part down. So my question is without having to buy a whole new rack I talked to a local body shop and they suggested that I use a sealant to have it stay down. Any thoughts or suggestions if anyone else had the same issues. Please see photos attached of my Tacoma and the sealant that I bought.

    Thanks

Should just be a plastic clip on the roof rack bracket. Should be replaceable.

Almost like a door panel clip. Should be able to find one that dose the trick at a parts store.

It is actually the little plastic piece that the yellow snap goes into please see photo attached, Toyota said they looked and could not find the part, if you know of place that sells them please let me know I really appreciate it.
