So today I took my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation, and an alignment. This was definitely not there before I got my service. What should I do? ..Or what can I do?

Go you down to the wal-marts. Getcha a tube sock and a pool ball. Put the pool ball in the tube sock, then go to the dealership and just beat ass until your wheels aren't scratched anymore.

Had a buddy at work that had some aftermarket rims had the Toyota dealer mount wheels.
They bent a wheel on him and did nothing.
They told him because it wasn’t a factory part they can’t warranty it?

Lol didn’t even notice the rings!
    Way better than the rim.
    If they come off.

On a side note I had bronze trd wheels with the fake bead locks.
Dealer torqued bolts or over torqued? Bolts holding trims and slightly cracked paint.
It just got worse and started blistering paint in those spots.

Ring does not come off its part of the wheel. I dont see the dealership helping with this at all. They most likely will tell you to kick rocks. It sucks that they did that but looks to be a simple fix with a sharpie!

    Another reason to DIY maintenance.
Sucks we can’t rely on a trained mechanic. Shit we pay for a trained mechanic right ?

I would be beyond mad if I was you. I don't understand how they can be so incompetent that they scratch a wheel doing a simple tire rotation. Rip some ass and demand it be fixed, and fixed correctly. When the dumb-ass you're talking to says he can't help you, ask to talk to the dealership's general manager. Tell him you are going to report the problem to the BBB, Toyota and will also post on social media if they don't make it right.

The fact that it isn’t oem is BS. That doesn’t give them the right to be careless

They take pics you had to sign before they worked on it? If so should be easy enough to show the service manager/dealership manager/owner they screwed it up. They won't work on a vehicle at my dealership without taking pics all around the vehicle beforehand. Good luck. Report them, touch it up and move on to another dealer if you're efforts fail.

I feel your pain, but quite honestly, it's going to be really hard to prove who did that. That's why I never let my dealership - whom I trust - touch my aftermarket wheels while I was enjoying free oil changes.

Stealer shit mechanics are a bunch of druggies. They don't give a crap about your truck. Do everything that you can yourself.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
ive seen this issue personally on more than one set of this model of scs. Even at professional shops ive seen it. Im not saying the wheels have bad coatings, but ive only seen it on these.

Probably because two out of three trucks on this website have them. You can’t overland with stock wheels, it makes you look poor on instagram.
