I haven’t heard. They’ve put up a ton of fences last I knew, it kinda ruins it though.

Back when I used to go, you could walk right up to the edge. Small railing a few feet high. Stand right on that edge and you'll get the feeling of why it's called the 'devils' punch bowl. It's freaky

I went quite a few years ago as a wee lad and I remember my dad gripping my shoulders as I leaned my head over the edge. That place is freaky lol, the erosion has really taken its toll on it. You have to pay to park now which is fucking absurd because you’re realistically there for like 5 minutes lol.

I hate cities lol, I avoid parking fees at all costs. Except for money. Because that’s the cost I’m avoiding.

Ha, you sound Dutch! Lol...I can say that cuz I have Dutch friends, cuz I'm Dutch.

Example, my cousin lives in zoutermeer. When him and his wife fly out of Amsterdam he brings his bicycle in his car. Drops off his family and luggage at the airport. Drives out to a suburb that allows overnight parking. Probably 10-15 Kms away he'll park on a side street, get on his bike, rides back to the airport where he can park his bicycle for free.

    That's dedication to frugalness lol

Hahaha I’m not Dutch, nor am I that frugal. But I have worked with Dutch people for 5 years so it rubs off I think.

    I can't like this post...

But ya, by misadventure or by purpose...it was fairly prevalent back in the day at least
