Hello everyone, I just got my first truck and I'm pretty dang excited about it. I found a used 2019 TRD Off Road that had 400 miles on it. I guess the guy who bought it wanted a Tundra instead lol. I couldnt afford a new TRD OR and was looking at SR models but then I found this used one that was around $4500 less than a new one so I just went for it! Hopefully the guy wasn't driving with the e brake on or something crazy but it 'seems' fine for now.

I'm pretty mechanical and learned to wrench on my first car which was a 70 VW Bug, but I've never had a truck so I'm finding there's a lot I don't know about. I'm mechanical but apprehensive about electrical stuff.

I've been doing a lot of reading about mods, suspension etc. I upgraded tires from 265/70R16 to 265/75R16. I went with WildPeaks. I think I might want to raise the front a little but haven't taken any measurements yet.

I don't have any big plans for the truck, but I'm not a big rock crawler I do a lot of driving on crappy paved roads along with dirt/gravel roads so my mods would be geared more towards a baja/rally type setup. Haulin ass in 4H lol.

Thanks for reading my post and thanks for all the info on this site. I've already learned a lot from reading your posts here. I've been creepin for about a week or so but just decided to post an intro :)

    Congrats !

No need to go crazy spending money. The tires was a great place to start. A small portable air compressors so you can let air out and soften the ride on the dirt is also helpful too. And if you really get stuck just drop it down to 18psi and you'll be good to go!

    & remember to enjoy!

Thank you everyone! I think the air compressor is a great idea I am going to do some research on those. Probably need a nice tire pressure gauge to go along with it.
