Waytek Wire. Really good shit, but it's pricey. Worth the money in my opinion. Minimum orders are 500 Feet, I pay about $30-40 a roll.

This is really good quality wire though, I'd even go as far to say that it's better than what Toyota uses for most of their harnesses. It's rated for oil, gas, and petroleum immersion and is UV protected.

30-40 a roll which is 500 feet? thats not too ridiculous. Id really prefer to use Raychem wire for my personal wiring endeavors. but man that shits uber expensive.. even second hand

It's wire, it can only get so good unless you're doing data transmission. For something as simple as power delivery that Amazon wire I used to use is perfectly fine.

raychems advantage is the size. shits supper thin but durable. can run more wires in a loom that doesnt take up alot of room

 

I wouldn't recommend it, it's Copper Clad Aluminum which means it's Aluminum wire with Copper plating. Not the best, but it gets the job done. I would use it again if I had to. 100% Stranded Copper is the best you can get.

There's different grades of automotive wire. TXL, GXL AND SXL.

TXL is thin wall, like the stuff you're thinking about. GXL is standard wall which I use, and SXL is thick wall for high stress environments that need thick insulation.
