I did some more install on the 51 Chevy in the past few weeks. 10 bolt rear is in along with rear suspension. Needed a 5/8” hole in the frame for the shock crossmember to bolt to. I didn’t have a 5/8” bit. Anybody ever bought a 5/8” bit for steel?? $18 freakin dollars for one drill bit. :annoyed:

We looked at the 65" TVs at wally world the other day. Thought about spending our meager tax return on one, but ultimately put it into savings.

New mattress is hard to beat, though! Nothing better than a good night's sleep!

Got the truck washed and the doors off on the jeep. Little chilli out but still got to drive around for a couple hrs.

Interesting. They sell kits or will you be fabbing something.
I dig the tube doors for the double cabs, just a bit pricey for me.

Tube Doors and then modifying the hinges for quick change. Will also need to figure out some relocation for speakers since all of them are in the doors, may just mount them in the tube doors and roll like that.

    Not that bad of price.

I’ve been, slowly, working to “retro-ing” my old truck.

Here’s the steering wheel I put in today. I made the cross-spoke covering a slotted “custom” billet one. This is “annodized bronze” (a warm dark gray) painted plastic. It still needs a center (using 2” hole plug- horn to be made a button on the dash later) & a planned TOYOTA on the right side.
    D42FDC08-C099-40EA-BE3D-6E9834E6C481.jpg

I’m making a couple centers that are more appropriate:
-a garnet T3q with tan letters
    - black ribbed ring, with the 3 stripe TOYOTA
-tan circle, with the classic triangle T (in garnet)

My goal is to make it look “stock,” when it isn’t.

    10:30pm Craigslist run.
Finally copped a good seat for my racing sim build.
Brand new. $80. That's not a rip, it's the Velcro for the center padding.

:wave: Hope everyone is doing well. I'm currently at home in TN attempting to Turkey hunt. It was 35 degrees, windy, and wet this morning. Not the spring season I'm used to! On the other hand, I'll be posting a bed rack and a used set of km2's for sale soon if anyone is interested.
