    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
unless you take off the side panels off or cut them (like for a high clearance) no way you are going to get a mag drill in there
sometimes that works and even beating on them with a hole punch doesn't work all the time. its faster/more consistent to drill. I'd suggest getting some tap magic oil to help the drill bits. go slow and don't let them heat up too much.

Just remember, you don't have to drill all of the way through the rivet. You only have to clear the shank of the rivet. The drill bits offered with the kit work well. wonders. I had a buddy who is a pipe fitter/welder come and help me out after I have removed 3 of 4 rivets on one side. He managed to remove all the remaining rivets in less time than it took me to remove 3. It pays to:

    1. Have patience (I was impatience and kept jump to different methods)
    2. Have metal working experience

    Same day, second goal.

I’ll be cutting them anyway, might as well do it first for more room to work.

Finally warm enough for me to work outside today so I installed my hammer hangers. Wasn't a hard job by any means but still took about 4 hours taking my time. This also included installing the Icon RXT leaf pack I decided to get. I know others have said there is a big plus in ride quality after installing the hangers and everyone wasn't lying! The rear no longer hops around over segmented concrete highways and feels more planted to the road. I still have to install my extended brake lines and adjust the preload on my front shocks to level out the truck again but that is for another day.

If you are on the fence about these just get them. They are a great product and Eric is a great person to deal with.

Here are a few crappy pictures

Clears the exhaust for now. My Fox 2.0's are limiting droop. Some extended Fox 2.5 DSC's are next on the list

Second set to install this time on @Naveronski truck, not having half of the bedside made this a lot easier....:rofl:

Huge thanks to @HCJ for the tons of help and now we just need to do your install as well!

I may be smiling, but I am actually defeated and extremely tired at this point... When I say that the Hammer Hanger install was the easiest and least difficult part of this job... I am not joking.

Pic stolen from @Naveronski since I forgot to take any pictures the following day with his new Hammer Hangers and @Mobtown Offroad Dual Swingout Rear Bumper.

Honestly they help to improve your ride on the road as well, at least for me they did.

2.5" Fox relocation * Hammer hanger * Archive MD springs
How much are a pair of springs?
How much are a pair of 2.5 shocks?
HH do a lot for ride quality, durability and travel, and are affordable compared to shocks and springs. They are great from commuter to prerunner to rockcrawler.
If you like a smooth carlike ride, IMO they are a must. Read the reviews in post #1

I think so. Haven't been off road since installing mine but the ride dramatically improved. The rear is definitely more stable.

Just wanted to say the customer service was great and the shipping was excellent. I had a few concerns with my order that was sorted out quickly and without so much as a hiccup. Great product backed by equally great service!!!

@EatSleepTacos is your set up just the Hangers with the SOA? I saw your instagram video and the thing looked phenomenal!

Shiiiiit. Well I wanted to do the Hangers w/ the crossbar. I want to flip the shackle too. I would love a set up like yours, I'm just not sure exactly what it takes. I have Kings EXT in the back with the Icon RXT Leaf pack. Do i just need the Hammer Hangers or am I way off?
