Hey guys! Just traded in my 2018 ZR2 diesel for a manual TRD Pro. Had to drive 2.5 hours to go look at the Pro and got lucky with the trade. I had a good trade in scenario and the manager really like the ZR2, he was driving around the Pro before so him being a fan of off road trucks definitely helped. I really liked the ZR2 but I needed to another manual in my life and the automatic only ZR2 sealed its own fate. The ZR2 was loaded to the gills with an original MSRP of $51,500. Chevy dealers are throwing huge incentives on them and killing their resale value right now so that did not help me with the trade, but I got what I needed to after some deliberation. So far i love the Pro. I had a '12 TRD OR a few years back and this truck is definitely leaps and bounds better than that one.

My firs "mod" is going to be a shifter ball for the transmission as I am not a fan of the TRD one. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good one? I drove a '17 OR that had a ball with orange lettering and it felt perfect but the dealership has no idea who it was made by.

I’ve been looking at a manual Pro as well. How do you like yours so far? How do you like the way the manual transmission is shifting?

Honestly, it is great. Very easy and light throw. The clutch is pretty light as well. No complaints about it at all.

Check out the OEM boot retention collar if you go with the Universal knob, it's $25

Welcome. The availability of a manual transmission 4x4 was and is a major factor of why I went with a Tacoma.

I wasn’t sure if the 19 Pro came with backup sensors and cross traffic alert

    It's a 2018, not a '19.

It was an '18 for an '18 swap. Needed a manual.

Congrats on the new PRO. I'm sure you will get years of great service from it. My favorite paint, BLACK. Let's see some side view pics.
