Greetings everyone! I've been a lurker (non-member) for a month or two now, hiding between the pages, reading threads, but since I finally picked up my first Tacoma figured I should join up and say hello.

Always loved the look of the Tacoma but never got around to being able to afford one until now. Found one at a dealer a few weeks ago in great condition, one owner, low mileage, and happened to be in my budget...so now it's mine. It's a 2016 SR5 double cab, nothing special but it's a beautiful truck and I love it. I knew I wouldn't be doing anything crazy so I didn't go the route of a TRD or 4x4 or anything that would've made my wallet cry like a baby after I got addicted.

Not looking to do much to it, but it's a nice upgrade from my nearly dead 98 Silverado that the last owner nearly beat to death, but it gave me 8 good years. So it'll be nice to view all your posts and see what fun projects yall take up, meet some of you fine folks, and just say hi. Looking forward to mingling with the community.

Last but not least I guess a photo is in order. Personal preference but took the step bars off the truck quickly after buying it as they were just in the way with the way it's currently setup. Pretty sure the last owner had some large wheels and tires on it, and swapped them out with the stock ones on trade in as these are literally brand new wheels/tires. He left the fender flares on though obviously. It'd be nice to get something else later down the line but since these are new (and my bank account hates me) that'll have to wait for the future. I'm sure it'll get some love in the near future.

I'm out for now, take care, happy to introduce myself to the community and hope to meet yall soon!

Thanks everybody, glad to be here and you best know I'm having a blast with the truck so far. Can't wait to get some seat covers and floor liners (I work in the steel industry) so I don't get everything all nasty dirty. It's nice to have a reliable truck you're not always worried is gonna die on trips, oh...and AC, AC is nice. HAHA.
