coalminer, If I am not mistaken, 265X75-16 is a optional tire size for Tacoma. I assume your wheels are 16X7. If so, you will have no problems. I am running 265X70-16 on my factory steel wheels. This kept my speedometer correct when I replaced the 245X75-16s.

265/70r16 is an optional tire size from the factory (used on TRD's), not 265/75r16. With that said I actually used to run and may be going back to stock steelies with 265/75r16 Hankook Dynapro ATM's. Had no rubbing. Pic attached.

Yes they fit with no problem... had a friend with the same tire size on his stock steel rims without a lift.

They do fit. Some folks have had slight rubbing issues, and its not listed has an OEM size so some shops may be hesitant to install, but you should feel comfortable going for the bigger size. Also, lots of 265/75/r16 are E rated which can knock down your msgs a bit if you care about that.
