applies to mine too. i occasionally get false "BRAKE" warnings with noone around. rare though. i mentioned at my 6mo service and nothing was done. it never applied the brakes. hopefully the software upgrade will do something about that.

is this the same sensor that is used for dynamic cruise control slowing if traffic is ahead? i had that go out on me in snowy/slushy weather and i was warned it would not work so i used the non-dynamic mode. i wiped some grill sensor off when i got home and it seems to be ok again.

My 11/2018 build date is included. I have gotten a false BRAKE! warning 3 or 4 times, but it never actually applied the breaks thank goodness. I really don't want to take it in. I hate waiting at the dealer for hours.

Mfr Date 11/2018, I am on the list and a faux grill with garnish. Works perfectly but I will likely put my old grill and surround back on for the reduced "possible" hassle since I can change it in 15 or 20 minutes.

Going in tomorrow for the recall. I have an OEM pro grille installed so I’ll see if they give me crap about it.

My 2019 SR has the recall. I'll get it done during my 6 month check-up in a couple weeks. :)

Bought me some locking lug nuts so they cannot rotate my tires. LOL!

So, I had my first service today and a few minutes ago I check the toyotaowners app to see if they input the details yet. Guess what shows up. They made no mention of this when they had my truck, so I called the service manager. He says, sorry about that, apparently they didn't check for recalls. Now I have to find time to take the truck back for this. Well, when I go back I will be getting some free ICEEs to take home for my wife and son.

Damn now I have to drive 90 miles to a dealer I trust with my truck (plus they have free cookies).

Put aliminum foil on the sides facing the truck- reflects the radar waves and makes a better target (seriously!).

Just picked up a brand new 2019 two weeks ago and two guys said there were no recalls on the trucks. Think I should take it back now to have them service the sensor?

Had it done a few days ago. It’s just a simple software update, nothing more
