Looking into getting a lift. This is what I found that looks pretty good for what I am looking for. I just want to have a raised look. I am not looking into doing to much off roading. Some suggestions please, Thanks in advance.

What’s your budget? Stay away from spacers.

Thanks Noted. No Spacers. I will be installing it myself and a buddy. So I would say $300-$500

A properly engineered spacer lift is fine if your are just looking for appearances. Also, a LOT (I mean a shit-tonne) of people go wheeling with spacer lifts as well. I would say the vast majority of modified trucks I come across on the trails are on spacer lifts, not “proper” lifts, and they all do fine.

It is only on enthusiast sites where spacer lifts are talked about like they are a cancer.

Don’t go super cheap no matter what you chose......it’s your life, and maybe mine, at stake.
Don’t expect high performance from a spacer lift, it does have some downsides.
Don’t get sucked into a super expensive lift you don’t really need.
Don’t listen to the haters with whatever choice you make.

I went with space lifts when I was younger. I also wasn't spending 30 or 40k on a truck. Why buy a nice truck and cheap out on "upgrades"? I haven't lifted this truck yet, but it will be a suspension lift that functions, not a spacer lift that causes the same issues without adding function. All lifts have the ability to cause wear on CVs and steering components (and apparently needle bearings), spacer or suspension. Personally, I would save a little longer and spend 1500 to get suspension components. You will likely need UCAs too regardless of which way you choose to raise 3" to keep alignment in spec. I would do it right the first time and not redo it later. But it's your truck and money at the end of the day. Do what makes you happy.

Thank you all so much for all the feedback. This is my first Truck. I have had a VW GTI VR6, Toyota Corolla,Honda Odyssey and a Honda Civic. This is the one that I will be putting in some time and money on. I will be smart and take my time take in all the considerations and research before I start putting in some real MODs. I did atleast put in a running board right away. I just didnt like how it looked from the side view, plus I tried to make it look discreet as possible.Thats why I put on the Tyger Blade Running Boards. I am mostly looking into just making it look nice but still functional to hit a little bit of terrain.
