So I recently turned 18 and I wanted to buy myself a new vehicle, well new to me at least. So I decided on a tacoma after seeing a 2015 XSP-X Tacoma. So then I couldn't find one so I found a 2016 Xp Sr5 4x4 Tacoma with 100k miles and it had no scratches on the paint nothing ripped in the interior and honestly it was like a brand new truck. I was able to get it for $21,300 and they said they only dropped it so much because they were able to get it as a cheap trade in for it and they gave me the savings they got from that trade in. So im just curious if it was a good deal but either way im definitely happy with my choice.

Welcome to the forum. 100K miles is a lot in three years but there’s no reason to think that it wouldn’t serve you well. My 84 Toyota truck went 135K miles on the original clutch.

Maintenance is the key. Make sure you do all the fluid changes.

If you feel like you got a good deal, then you got a good deal. We don’t know your financial situation and we weren’t in the room. Enjoy your new truck.

    You are fine.

That many miles that quick means it spent its life on the highway. The highway is the least demanding for these trucks.

I bet the brake pads are still plenty thick.

If you love the truck then you got a great deal but remember one thing the dealer always wins .

This purchase is about you and your new truck and no one else, If you like the truck, it drives well and no problems then you got a great deal.
At only 18 you deserve a Congratulation’s, enjoy your purchase and don’t second guess yourself on if you made a good deal.

From everything I researched it's a package that comes with certain rims predator running boards and badging and that's about it.
Theres the Xp, Xsp, Xsp-x. Sometimes with the higher two packages you get the bolted looking fender flares.

You have an interesting color code going on with the neighborhood:thumbsup: nice truck! I think 21k for it isn’t bad. That’s about how much you’d spend on a 2nd gen with that many miles. Enjoy the truck! I would’ve wished for that when I was 18.

Zack, that’s a really sharp truck you just bought! I only wish that I could have purchased a truck that nice when I was Eighteen, enjoy.
