    My Western Mass peeps, trying to find a spot for me and the wife to go where we can use the RTT and I can see her again to Marry Me for our 20th Anniversary? I love to be near water, and maybe a nice place to eat. Would most likely be a Saturday afternoon to overnight Sunday. Whatcha got?

    @Unchained 5150

    Tolland State Forest. Tent sites right on the water.

    Also Camp Overflow if want more ammenities.

    Theyre on Otis Reservoir. And plenty of good eats(at least, there used to be) right on the lake, and close by.

    Easiest I can think of real fast.

    Mohawk Trail State Forest in Charlemont is a nice spot. The campground is right on the Deerfield river, nice hiking, rafting, etc. in the area. Shelburne Falls for food, Bridge of Flowers, Lamson Goodnow Outlet, loads of kitchy little shops.

    ^^ This.
    I reserved a couple days in there this coming summer. Have hiked in there, fished a lot near there. Great s.f.
    Adams is west on route 2. Mass MoCA, little further along and you get to Williamstown.

    @Unchained 5150 Beartown is also another good little s.f. camping area. Sites on the pond are nice.
    Great Barrington is very close.
    And yes, there are bears in the park. :anonymous:

    @Unchained 5150 if you go to Mohawk you are 5 minutes from my house! Pretty Area, also like 20 minutes from North Adams and 30 from Williamstown without getting off the road. Nice windy drive with some views. LOTS of good restaurants in those two towns and art etc.. if she is into that.

    @tacobell007 Drew, I’m heading away to work for a few weeks tomorrow but maybe when I get back you can give me a hand with the shocks. I think I’m good to do it but I’d like someone with me who’s done it!
