Anyone have an opinion on the non OEM roof racks sold on eBay. Some have good reviews but will they last as long and fit properly ?

The first aftermarket rack I bought on eBay was from dash_zone for about $143 and it was terrible fit so I returned it. The second was from speed_daddy for ~$156 and it was better, but it looked like someone had already tried to install it and stripped some bolts so I contacted the seller to get a replacement and they offered me 50% off so I decided to keep it.
I only wanted it for looks so i’ve never used it but it looks and feels sturdy enough to handle any normal roof rack items. I looked at some trucks with racks at the dealer and they didn’t look much better than mine so i’m happy I bought aftermarket. Good luck

I would not risk leaking roofs etc to save a few bucks.

This was the first rack of this type i’ve ever installed.....and I don’t see how an OEM one would be built differently........but if it leaked, I can’t see how it would be the racks fault.......You just gotta take your time and make sure the flat rubber washers and sealant are used correctly.
