What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Ordered some parts from Toyota for the truck.
Nuts for the fuel tank skid plate (forgot to order them when I ordered the straps), bolts for the inverter (wasn't sure on size so I got them from the dealer), tail gate cables (because), carpet floor mats (tossed the old ones a week after buying the truck), a new carpet (old one is stained and smells).

Can't wait to pull the original carpet and really clean the floor.

 

Yup, I did this with my sport, I feel like nobody notices it but I love it!

 

OK which one of you folks knows the center of hub to fender measurement in the rear for a stock second gen tacoma? TRD Sport if that matters which I don't think it does

Spent 400 dollars at the dealership for a new u joint, and I test drove a turd gen trd offroad 6 speed mt, it was meh. The clutch felt more like a car clutch then my trucks, and it sounded along the lines of a Prius with an exhaust but oh well. Gave me something to do

 

Dam....I hope I fair better....what product did you use? Did you degrease a couple of times first? I used degreaser 3 times and painted 3 times....hope it stays

 

Any more pictures or a write-up of how you did it? It's something I've been looking at doing at a later date.

 

I saw a post about a clutch accumulator delete, maybe this will change the feel of the clutch. Haven't read the post fully because I have a 2nd gen.

 

@Fkn_kyle nice set up. How do you like that rubber, looking at pulling the trigger on those.

 

Yup, washed it first, degrease, alcohol, wash and alcohol again. Even lightly scuffed it up a bit. Put three coats on it. Yellowed in two weeks

 

No clue. My next truck will hopefully be a 2015 6 speed manual. Access cab long bed. If I can find a decent one

 

I was looking for the same truck but a double cab short bed.

 

He used everything off of 80/20 inc. I could deff measure everything and PM you details. This rack uses the same cross bars as a prinsu so mounting things is a breeze.

That came out really nice. What type of paint did you use?
I’ve been thinking of doing mine, but it might be too much on the black truck. Ever seen the tss rims painted black? I can’t seem to find a picture...much less black on black.
