I went through the dealer to order it. They won’t do it. They were gonna adjust the radar unit also after the install. Like I said, F’ck ‘em.

I’ll just go back to the original plan and derp my OR grill.

I like to get new tires before next winter like yours. Most likely cross into the US as they are cheaper for me to get.

I also have been upgrading my Taco to a TRD Pro. Well sort of. Some of the electronics I can't put in. I did put on 1/4" skid plate 1 piece. Removing the 2 thin skid plates that came with it. Rust proofed the hell out of it. Husky floor mats, bed liner, TRD Pro intake with the 10 year filter, plus other accessories.

The black is cool and all, but I went a different route. Wanted my surround, scoop, and badges to match the wheels. I'm happy with it.

Plasti dipped my grill trim. I may do the Toyota emblem also, not sure.

Yup. The key is to ADD a layer of metallizer and or glossifier on top so that it doesn’t look like a crappy plastic dip job.

I’ll second the idiot thing. Very easy but you do have to remove the whole grill surround. Few things I learned:

I have a ‘19 and there are 4 extra pushpin clips on the very bottom. They are covered and only half visible. No YouTube video I saw showed these.

Also, when the surround is off, figure out which clips need to be removed. I broke a clip unnecessarily. There are black clips and plastic chrome clips. I believe you only have to remove the black ones.

    Very simple. ACB960A0-70A8-432A-B6EE-38021EBF817E.jpg

I've been waffling on replacing or painting the grill. Mine is the 2016 sport. Way too much chrome. Your's looks good . What kind of bug deflector is that?

Just did mine today. It took all of 2 min to get the grill off. I wanted to see if I liked it prior to purchasing a SR bevel.

I did mine, in an effort to un-chrome my Offroad vehicle.
