Bought a 2010 DCSB: Upgrade and Mod questions:

I purchased a 2010 DCSB on March 30th. I love the truck already, but that's no surprise.

I have a few questions on upgrades I want to make to the truck as well as upgrades that have already been installed and removed. First question is regarding what appears to be a USB port in the front sunglasses holder. There's an option for a road cam in the JVC head unit that came with the truck, but I wasn't sure if that was what the USB ports were for.

I was also wondering about Headlight and Taillight replacement options. I was looking at the Spyder LED DRL Bar Projector Headlights, a set from CWCustoms, or other options fro headlights. In terms of taillights, I was thinking about the VIP Motoz Phanntom smoke LED Taillights or a set from CWCustoms. I understand it's all opinion, but getting advice on lights that are going to function well and without issues is always a plaus.

I'm not sure what the USB ports are for, but that "sunglasses holder" is actually for a garage door opener.

 

I have a 10dcsb and I don’t have the USB port in there . Definitely from previous owner. For the headlights I would stick with OEM I replaced mine because they were cracked and faded.as for mods update the radio put in heated seats, husky floor liners, Tonneau-Cover. Do the basic maintenance to spark plugs clean the throttle body and mass air flow check your belt, check cabin and air filter. And when I bought mine half of the bulbs were out .in the fog light switch and heater controls. In my opinion you got the best used year i did research and the 09-11’s have the least amount of reported problems
