Not if there's still air in the system somewhere.

Yours will be easy. The off roads have an electric booster. Supposedly you press the pedal a little and hold, then open bleeders and it'll pump fluid till released.

The adapters totally worth it. You can also look for other makers of adapters and rig them up to fit thebl motive bleeder pump. As soon as you bleed the brakes like that, everything pays for itself.

There's a rather expensive adapter kit on Amazon. Covers a ton of makers, all aluminum. If anyone isn't scared to drop the money on it I can post a link.

Did you follow the bleed process for fluid replacement for vacuum boosted?
    Master cylinder>brake line>actuator

Sorry I can’t help, but are there any Toyota techs on this forum? In my VW days there were VW, Audi techs on the forums and they were always amazing. But then again they didn’t impact the oil filters on either . . .

Yes. But not quite in this order. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

If it were a VW or Audi I'd be plugging right along! Never thought I'd say that!

It might be too obvious, but did you get someone to put their foot on the pedal while you check your old and new, extended flex lines for big bulges? Wouldn’t be the first bad flex line shipped directly from the factory.
Did the master cylinder go dry at any point while you were bleeding the system? If it did, spend the money and get someone to do the BG system bleed. If not, i’d be looking more closely at the MC....the timing of the failure might just be a coincidence.......
