Sure I am. I would never haul my optics over a route that was rough enough to require tying things down. For this application the mat is perfect, and it's all I need. Been doing it this way for years and years.

My dog loves the bed mat and that’s the only opinion I care about.

She likes to sit in the bed with my wife when we drive the two miles down the road to the park(people in bed is legal here). She always likes to sit in the bed when I wash the truck. She’s loves to get sprayed in the face.

Whatever, man. You're obviously the expert at this, and I just don't have any idea what I'm talking about. How could I have possibly made it through four decades of driving a truck without your sage advice? It's a mystery. I'm gonna go suck my thumb in the corner now.

Right haha, That’s a full pallet of brick pavers. Online says it’s roughly 1.7 tons  my butt was clenched the whole ride lol. What’s supposed to be the max weight on these trucks anyway lol

A bed mat is very useful, keeps boxes and light cargo from sliding around.

Anyone who thinks otherwise has never used one or is a troll.

I spilled a quart of primer in my 2nd gen bed yesterday, and it all cleaned off. Huge composite bed fan here as well. It has also taken a decent amount of heavy load abuse from me, and taken it well.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
I have tried several times to search out one of the original marketing ads for the 2nd Gens. Thought I saw it in Playboy, but not sure. Had a fourwheeler in the back with the gate down and guy on fourwheeler is doing a smoky burnout. I guess it was meant to showcase the toughness of the composite bed.

I've never given a second thought to using the bed any way I need to in my 13 years of ownership.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
You do your wood cutting like I do -- get as big of pieces on the truck as I can lift -then get them home and split the wood there. I find it makes for a heavier load, but on the plus side there is less "dead" air space on the truck, therefore you get a bigger load. Bonus - it unloads faster. If I can do it, several times I have saved lifting by taking directly from the truck bed to the hydraulic splitter beam. At my age I try to save the lifting to just what is needed. This last season I have burnt a lot more than in the past few years.
Right now I am looking for some green stuff to resupply the pile. I like to burn wood seasoned at least a year. Way less creosote!
