My 3rd gen. First new vehicle I ever purchased. I wanted a Tacoma since I was 15 and finally pulled the trigger when they came out. It was the worst vehicle I've ever owned and it made me miserable driving it around.

I'm holding out hope that the Ranger and Gladiator eat into their sales enough for them to fix the stupid problems this platform has. They are good looking trucks.

Sidesteps, came on the truck already installed. Totally useless, adds unnecessary weight, and gets my pants leg dirty... and I paid for them.

Saying “stupid, stupid, stupid” as I bang my head against the wall. :frusty:

My truck. Well not really the truck, but the fact I didn't negotiate for a better deal... Dealership got me cause I was in a hurry. Big mistake on my end.

All accessories have been great but I'm pretty selective on what I get.

After 18 months the truck's been perfect for what I need it for. Sometimes I wish I'd gone for MGM over Inferno. Sometimes I miss my old '90 standard cab but my dogs wouldn't fit in it, so the access cab is a good compromise. I do miss the towing power of my 5.7L Tundra but it was a real dog off road and in the city.

Edit: I thought of an accessory that was a mistake: The Ram X-mount. It was highly rated but it doesn't hold my phone right and is too hard to use. I'm looking for another phone mount for the DMM (which I love).

Any info on this? I'm torn between a slimline hybrid (especially after the high clearance kit was shown) and something like this.

My cap. I thought I'd like it a whole lot more than I did. The paint match wasn't great and it scratched my bedside.

At least it was easily rectified. I sold it for a $300 profit.

Last summer I sold my 2012 TRDOR access cab and bought an ‘89 4runner thinking I would save a car payment for a while. Long story short, that plan did not go well and by the time it was all said and done I lost about 4K. Then I bought a new pro. Thank goodness for plentiful overtime.
