What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Thanks Chris, I have a lead on a set and we were supposed to meet last Sunday. Unfortunately I had to cancel due to a buddy of mine passing away. I'm busy on weekends for the next few weeks but I'm hoping we can work something out.

 

I'm pretty anal when it comes to a lot of things. This ram mount being a prime example.

I think the copious amounts of whisky I consume probably cancels that out

 

When I bought my 2013 Tacoma I loved everything about it except the 20” rims

I fixed that today

Edited to add they are Fuel Shok 17x9 -12 bs in gunmetal with 285/70/17 trail grapplers

 

Hauled all this wood to build this over the last 3 days still have a bit to go



And now I can fit yeti cups in the rig now!

 

Whelp 3 hours later and my rear drums are painted. Not the prettiest, but the paint will do its job! Also some other random pictures because why not....

Combined key + fob and eliminated key/fob . Getting an 06 tacoma into programming mode was a hassle.

 

Does the trunk button drop the tailgate? cuz that would be sweet

Not yet. Thats actually a good idea, but I was thinking of programming it for remote start.

 

Did you get the key with a chip or did you remove the chip from your old key? I've been looking at a flip key, but most of them require the chip from the old key. I have a key programmer already.

Ok. I'll order a flip key someday. Some of them have the chip so it's a program and play.

 

Did Anyone see you opening your doors 1000 times? Neighbors thought I was crazy when I did it. None of them have talked to me since.

 

I tried programing the fob in front of the store where I got my keys cut and the guy saw me through the window and laughed. Luckily I have multiple job site where I can try the programming 2-3 times a site before I got it to work after 3 weeks.
