Thinking of doing the Allegheny and shenandoah overland trail the week of April 15 as a shakedown trip for our upcoming trip to Alaska this summer. I am doing the research I can, but I'm concerned with water crossings. I see on map the high water bypasses. Anyone know if this route is possible this time of year? Anyone know of any other good resources for it?
