    Morning.
    Over did it yesterday.
Between running around at work and putting out fires with the new car
(That still need to be addressed) then going back and doing paper work and getting home,
My adductor (inner leg) decided to do the I give up and cramp thing.
    Ouch Ouch.

Fixing two pieces of never seen that before shit reduced my stress a little and only briefly.

    Cold again.
    Winter hanging on.
    My long week

    COFFEE

Good morning. Back at it today. Going to (gingerly) excavate around the old tank today and find all the inlet pipes then start dragging new trenches to where the new tanks are going to be located then start excavating those holes down to about 4'. That's about the depth of the deepest of any utilities would be in this part of the world (except high voltage. Those can be down around 6' but we found that already). Next week is going to be a little tedious. We have 6,000 feet plus of 2" out line that has somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 gallons of sewer water. We have to pump the tanks, backflow that back into the tank, expose that line, cut the line, add a valve then drag the new trench for the new tank then hook it back up to the old tank so everything works till the new tanks get here. Kinda like playing Russian Roulette with really nasty stuff. The 6,000' line gains in elevation of a couple hundred feet.

Some days I would really like to punch a clock.

We're ratcheting up to the 90's real quick like...knocking on that door already.

    Y'all have a great day.

    Good Morning All

Started a shit storm at work 2 weeks ago and continued it it yesterday. My first shift counterpart is at it again. Taking short cuts that makes me have to redo things. Generally just screws things up that if I dont catch it would lead to machine crashes.
I told my union rep that when I get :censored: over, union brotherhood gets flushed

    Morning... almost afternoon here..

Had a great day yesterday down in Lakeland...

In front of Tico Belle, our flagship.

    upload_2019-4-5_11-40-46.jpg

The XP-82 made it in, first time she's flown since the Korean conflict.. 11 years and over 200K man hours to restore her.. It was quite a stunning figure when she flew over on her way in, those Merlin engines have a distinct sound about them for sure...

    upload_2019-4-5_11-45-31.jpg

Hope everyone is having a good day.. Carry on!!

Is that a generator on the top of that thing?? You'd think there should be solar panels and a windmill... :D

Well, Dad's back at the ER. He should be OK. Doctor sent him there as they can do the X-rays, etc all in one place. He's had a chest cold that has been getting worse and is now wheezing.

Everyone calls it that, but Tom states that every piece on that plane is unique, there are NO interchangeable parts between the XP-82 and the P-51.. He spent 14 Million restoring this beastie, and it is an engineering miracle.. Most all the sheet metal and a lot of the sub-framing had to be re-manufactured!
