Hey Nor-Cal! Moving into my own place with the GF come June 1st and this will allow us to finally get man's best friend, a Dog! Wondering if anybody happens to have a litter coming soon or knows of anybody planning one. Preferably looking for a smaller breed (Nothing under 10lbs) and nothing bigger than a Lab! Figured this wouldn't be the worst place to start on the search. If anybody has any leads feel free to comment or Dm me! Thanks guys! Willing to drive pretty much anywhere in Bay Area or within reason!

Yeah have had an eye out but nothing comes up with what the GF is liking plus would like to know a little background on the parents. Appreciate the advice though!

I'm in the bay area - craigslist has a pretty good number of dogs of all types, many of which are being given away free to good homes

That’s a shame. Great breed. Totally misunderstood dogos. Like someone else said, start at a shelter. It’s good for you and good for the dogo.

Check the shelters, you will definitely find a great dog there. So many great dogs need homes in shelters, please go that route vs buying a dog from a breeder.

    So stock.
We just had to say goodbye to our dog a couple a weeks ago so it’ll be awhile before we’re ready to get another one. But when we are ready we will probably go this route: https://labs2loverescue.org/

Dang..... looks like the dog got a lil' hungry and saw an arm that was ripe for the pickin'. That sucks. I got my one-eyed Shiba Inu from the shelter a couple years ago, and to be honest, I had little hope that she was going to be even a halfway-decent dog (she endured prior abuse before I got her) but she has ended up becoming one of the best animals in general that I have ever had the pleasure of being around. She is something special.

Either way, good luck on your puppy-searching. If I see something pop up Ill shoot it your way

I’d start at the shelter, if you’re looking for a specific breed or for a specific purpose I’d find a reputable breeder.

I will not and I don’t condone buying puppies off craigslist. 99% of people selling puppies on Craigslist are back yard breeders and pieces of shit.

Dog had been hostile for a while. Eventually few days later dog had been cooling down mostly just one on one time with owner lots of walks and what not to get it to lose some energy we hoped. Roommate went out that night with a treat and dog went bezerk for no reason what so ever other than maybe feeling threatened he came outside (even more bizarre was he was one of the few liked by the dog) short story few stitches and an ER trip dog was relocated. 110lb Pitbull, roommate was lucky in our eyes with what he got could have been much much worse
