    I’ve worked nights for 8 years (7pm-730am) and I’m actually going to day shift end of summer (baby #2 coming) so that will be a welcome change. Night shift is whack but has it’s benefits

    Thank you sir!!! And yes, working nights is amazing for that and it helps that my workplace pays a 17% differential for nights. And then another 10% on top of that for weekends. So if you work weekend nights you make 27% more than your base pay. Not too shabby!

    Door update.

    I decided not to take the 3 hr trip to Hell, NJ.

    Here's my thought process:

    NJ door $300 paint $100 to $150 gas to get there and back $100 = $500 -$600 ish

    Local junk yard $750 no paint needed and clean door.

    Local body work quotes (still waiting for an email) I'm guessing $600 - 700 if less than $500 I will go this route if I can't get a door for cheap.

    Maybe luck is on my side and I can get a metal gray door off Craigslist for $300 without going to Bumfuck, NJ. We'll see.

    I don't like NJ. :D
