That'll do it! You can go to repeaterbook and search your local area for repeaters. Use the USB and CHIRP to program your radio. If you want to use that setup in the house, just put the mag mount on a filing cabinet or a cookie sheet or something. You'll be surprised.

I’ve done brisket and ribs a few times, never had any issues other than size. Did a 16lb turkey one year and I had to tie the legs so they would go up the chimney. My brother in law did a chicken and a rabbit on it and they were awesome too! The ceramic does well for temperature consistency and moisture loss.

 

You don’t lick them clean like some of us do?

Yeah, that was one of the reasons I went up to the 22" Weber, to fit a larger brisket.

Getting ready to go turn two brake controller pigtails into one so I can mount the controller up on the top of the dash trim bezel to the left of the steering wheel. I tried it on the bottom of the dash face like most but my knees were hitting it and it was sorta outta view and a little hard to reach quickly.

I'll use heavy duty (the clear plastic type) velcro attached to the trim bezel and bracket so I can remove it when I'm not using it. There will only be about 3" of exposed wire and I'll add a small piece of black velcro (cloth) to that to keep it from just being all out there.

 

What's everybody think for tomorrow? I thought either cabelas or I've got authorization to use an undisclosed members parking lot at their office...

It is a pizza and beer joint on the 35 and Sam bass rd in RR......might be just the place if it rains....
