More anecdotal than scientific test results, but.... I took out OEM, and installed NGK "iridium" plugs in my truck. OEM had almost 100K. They LOOKED almost new when I took them out. New plugs and I could not tell one bit of difference, even though these were high dollar plugs. Just HAD to try 'em. Probably won't spend the extra again.

Did a friends truck. Took out OEM with less than 20K and installed E3 "race plugs"....Could not tell one iota of difference in how it ran.

I like NGK after a 17 year relationship with them while racing motorcycles. Can't honestly say they're any better or any worse.

Do NOT like Champion plugs. Had bad luck with them in a couple other trucks.

Again, not "science based"....Just good ol' "seat of the pants" feel and a close watch on gas mileage.

You don't have to go with "OEM" per se, but NGK or Denso of the proper part numbers will be fine. They last a LONG time and they're only a couple bucks a pop.
