What's your budget? If the age has got a zero at the end, it's supposed to be big. File that under things spouses wont say outloud but secretly expect. (Thankfully you still have 10 years before its supposed to be really big.)

For the 30th, A weekend spent at the Napa River Inn would be my recommendation. Throw in a wine train package and couples massage while you're at it .

Hard to really say, not knowing her. A hardback bestseller if she's a reader, skis, bowling ball, dinner at a fancy restaurant, a puppy, designer purse...

So, a rich Arab Sheik is expanding to the USA. He hires a consulting firm to help. He's so happy with the assistance he gets that he tells the young lady assigned to him that he wants to buy her a gift. And asks what she'd like. "Oh I don't know" she tells him "I guess some golf clubs would be nice" A week later he calls her "Okay, I got you some golf clubs, but only two have swimming pools"

So how many years between big floods, would you say?
There must be a passage of years between, or there'd be nobody left near the river to flood out. :notsure:
I recall several occasions over the years seeing news stories about it being a bad flood year in the Mississippi valley.

    Wow, seems pretty darn high.
    Are you worried?

Flooding isn't really a worry here in PA.
Except for Johnstown, my wife's hometown.
Kind of a special case though, deep narrow valley, and a couple rivers coming together.

That box truss bridge reminds me of the Walnut Street bridge at Harrisburg.
Melting ice floes took it out in 1996.

    proxy.duckduckgo.com1.jpg

The Susquehanna river is about a mile wide there.
Pretty shallow though and fast moving.
In late summer it's possible to just about wade across it in places.
I can attest to that, because I used to be a smallmouth bass fanatic. :p
