    One of you guys needs to turn off that enrichment, alone. Then drive around and measure any fueling changes. I am quite curious how much differently that will affect MPG alone.

    Not just a performance thread here in my opinion. There are some pretty cool things that can be done with this, that don't necessarily involve performance or hammering your truck to redline.

    One thing I've noticed after doing a little refining of the stock maps is just how smooth my truck now drives. I've got a relatively low mile '15 (42K) that ran exceptional. But just refining the maps has transformed the truck from being jerky on throttle let-off to being smooth as a baby's butt. The throttle mapping alone and it's ramp rate have really changed how the truck drives too.

    I don't think we're going to ever get to a 30MPG state with these things, but some enhancements could be made to say account for a small difference to bring it say..on par with the 3rd Gen trucks.. There's a lot on the table here in terms of refinement and just general drive-ability. I also see a lot of headroom for the performance aspect, especially on the S/C trucks.

    Truth be told, there are gains to be had with N/A but the stock manifolds are really ruining the party in this application.

    I've been telling this to people for years. Catching a :crapstorm: for saying that with proper tuning, you can improve both MPG and power output.

    The mass availability was not there though for there to be enough of a consensus. So the most of them just look to my comments as "that standalone guy" or myth. Lol

    Now we all have multiple avenues to prove such, with the OEM ECU.

    This is a more aggressive mapping than stock, but something I still consider reasonable. Let me know what you think.

    I have another that I'd consider truly aggressive, for those that are using their trucks in a more performance oriented application vs. using 4Lo and needing fine throttle control at low input levels.

    I'm working on some changes now that include just that. Trying to get everything I want to do with as few trips outside as possible. Being 15-20 miles from me, you probably know why! :D

    What do you expect Tor. People are ignorant, and as the old saying goes, ignorance is bliss. Even I had noticed these trucks could use some serious refinement the moment I got gauges and started inspecting the TRD Tune while running it which is why I was upset for many years that no tuning support up to that point was available for these PCMs.

    Like me, I am ignorant to tuning because I don't understand how the tuning tables are structured and what changes need to be made in order to get a better running vehicle. With HPT I would most likely only be able to obtain a datalog and then that's about it. Compound the further issue that no one here in the Bay are does Toyota tuning let alone has HPT for Toyota... I am literally on my own out here.

    I have the laptop ready for the program and the OBD port that I got when I bought my OVTune as well as the USB cable. What do I need at this point?

    If you want to go down the HPT road. Datalogs are all we need to get you dialed in remotely. With the right channels being logged, and you putting the vehicle through a predetermined set of operations (ie: what gear to be in, at what rpm, and when to hit the pedal) I can tune a truck just as if I was sitting inside it. It can be done. I was tuning EVO's in Colorado from Iraq in '08 when I was deployed by emailing logs/maps back and forth :)

    Base tune for 91/93 Octane N/A trucks is underway and looking good. Very impressed with the Knock Feedback Correction values. Anyone with a MPVI2 and a N/A truck want a free tune?

    @JustDSM what is the original calibration ID on your truck. I also have a 2015 manual transmission, mine is 2wd though
