solar storm tonight!

not sure how far south we will be able to see this but people north of colorado should be able to see an awesome light show. Suposedly this will be the only time in our lives we will be able to see this, outside of alaska, washington.

 

I will be up, maybe I will see them down here?

 

We actually seen some minor activity in Ky a couple of years ago. Mostly purple and red. A friend of mine is actually into this, he had found a website that follows solar storm/ aurora activity and forecasts for your area. Pretty cool, good luck on seeing something.

last night there were red and green out here around 3AM. we are suppose to be able to see them again tonight.

you have to get away from city lights to be able to see it.
