i have a 7 pin connector for my trailer. Even when the vehicle is off, the trailer left brake light stays on. I can’t figure it out. Any thoughts?

I checked the wiring for the 7pin and did not see any crosses wires.

Bad grounds. When it comes to mystery lights on a trailer, it's almost always bad grounds.

I agree, every trailer problem I’ve had has been due to a grounding problem. The only exception is when I messed up and wired it incorrectly.
