A- 2.5 DC Reservoir (2.5’’ body size, Remote Reservoir, Dual Compression adjustable)

Top of the line truck shocks from Elka Suspension! Increased comfort and better handling on road. Plush compliance, firm and stable handling and extra bottom-out protection off road. Perfect for a daily driver truck with regular off-road use.

B- 2.5” Reservoir (2.5” body size, Remote Reservoir)

These shocks offer the same great features as our DC shocks, but without compression adjustment. Perfect for a daily driver truck with occasional off-road use.




C- 2.5” IFP (2.5” body size, Internal Floating Piston)

Tremendous improvement over the stock shocks, the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) Elka shocks are perfect for the drivers looking to improve the handling and comfort of their trucks with a simple and efficient shock package capable of light off-road duties.




All Elka Suspension Toyota Tacoma front coilover shocks are available in two lift options:

· 0-2” lift. Set from the factory at 1.5” lift for the front shocks to achieve a level look with the rear. This is the “leveling kit” option from Elka.

· 2-3” lift. Set from the factory at 2.5” for the front shocks to pair with a rear lift kit. This option should only be installed along with aftermarket Upper Control Arms (UCA) to allow proper suspension geometry, correct down travel and perfect alignment. *Currently only available as call-in special orders with Eibach springs in silver color*

Factory preload is adjusted to correct the “Tacoma lean”, but please note that it can vary from a vehicle to another so an adjustment may be required.

All Elka Suspension rear shocks (remote reservoirs or IFP) are compatible with a stock truck and lift kits up to 2”.

These are a bolt-on installation, no need to cut or trim anything on the truck.

I know Elka has a great reputation among the race atv and utv crowd and has for years. I hope these perform just as well.

 

and available in Canada easily versus importing from USA.

Do these have a top out "bump stop" built in them? Maybe I missed in somewhere but I thought I saw a video of it somewhere as well...

 

Is there any "deal"or discount for TW members?

 

I would recommend contacting Headstrong Offroad @HeadStrong Off-Road. I ordered mine through a GB they organized for Elka, but their normal prices are pretty good I have found.

I’m keeping an eye out for better deals on these.

 

Why a 1.5" spacer shaft spacer which finally leads into the lower rod heim instead of a solid 3" lower rod heim? Picture below for those who don't know what I'm talking about.



I am not attempting to s**t on this thread, welcome to TW actually! I want to point out that spacer robs potential travel as it sits directly above the lower rod heim making that part of the shaft "dead space..."

Unless these are being marketed as a direct OE replacement and not "extended travel" coilovers? Or is/ was there another reason for going this route?
