getting water from "under the dash" and puddling on the floormat. drips coming from the side of the lower panel under the glove compartment.

dealer changed the windshield (two days after delivery) so that may be a lead.

any suggestions where/ how to look before handing it back to the dealer? if it's just some squirt of something, I can turn it into a learning experience.

    thanks

I would take it back to the dealer so it's on the books that there is an issue, in case it were to be a problem down the road again. Make them fix it.

Having experienced leaks in multiple trucks, all I can really say is that just because the water ends up in the front doesn't mean the leak isn't somewhere else like the third break light.

Fresh-air intake is just above the passenger foot-well behind the plastic cover for the windshield wipers. Could be where water is coming in, also the place where mice and vermin enter.

I've had mice enter many of my vehicles over the years. Usually my first mod on any new car is to find that opening and cover it with hardware cloth.

It’s probably the windshield if they replaced it. Years ago I had the same issue and they didn’t completely seal the windshield. Even the smallest space in the seal will let in water.
