I have a question about the scangage. So, has anyone monitored the HP (horse power) set point on the scan gage. Does anyone know how accurate the Horse Power setting is?

I have a Scan Gauge. I didn't know it had a HP setting.

I does have a "percentage of load" setting. I've used that when hauling my camper.

I still end up using water temp as my go to setting.

With that said, I like having a real reading of what is actually going on with the motor. The scan gauge is worth the $100 or so I paid.

I never thought of using the load % setting when towing my camper. That's a pretty good idea, i'll have to try it next time I tow.
