    I know that when I require a rebuild, I’ll be getting the stroker kit. Cams, well, might find a place that can grind the lobes a bit because yeah, there doesn’t seem to be much out there. I drew the line at internals too - but all’s fair when the stock ones fail or it’s just that time. Which, could be a while yet. Or, not.

    Texas dude that got in tight with APR. One of the first to do APRx1 and e85. APR designed and made a few back mount turbos for our xrunners. So Balboa decided he wanted both. The plan was to build internals, keep the TRD Blower and have the back mount turbo too. Not quite sure what happened but I think he ended up with a Ford RS.

    E85 burns pretty cool. E85=110 octane or so

    Did you go with an ARB in the front end? If so the inner seal to the ARB is leaking and filling the housing with air and pumping the fluid out of the breather. Mine is doing the exact same thing. ARB is covering it under warranty but I still have to pull it from my truck, ship it back to ECGS, they will fix it in a day, then ship it back to me, then put back in the truck. So the truck will be down for a couple of weeks or I stuff an old front diff in and just know I can drive but not use wheel drive. The way I found out that the housing was getting pressurized was the ARB compressor started turning on to keep the locker engaged about every 10-15 seconds. Unlike when I first installed it and broke the front gears in and played in the sand for over 3 hours and the compressor cycled maybe 5-6 times the whole time and that was usually because I stopped to let the gears cool and turned the truck off.

    Yes, the compressor cycles frequently once I open the solenoid to the diff. I can hear air pissing out of the breather. I think I may have also overfilled slightly, since Imhavent engaged the front locker in quite some time yet still have some fluid weeping on the breather line. I did not have ECGS do the install but I may have them fix it. I am moving in two months about twenty minutes down the street from ECGS. My wife doesn’t understand all the money we are going to save on freight here before long.

    And I am late to the game as usual. LOL I guess I should catch up and then decide if I need to help. But yeah Chase said he has been doing a lot of them. I told him I couldn't send mine back until after winter was over since I didn't want to be without 4 wheel drive in a snow storm. He told me no worries, ARB knows there is and issue and I will be taken care of. ECGS is great to do business with. And I stock his front diff bushing here at the dealership. Because it works.

    This is why I want to go with a Harrop elocker over an ARB airlocker when I regear. So much less to fail. I will say I’ve been impressed with my Trutrac in the rear on and off road.

    I was going to swap to a Harrop. I’m kind of over ARB at this point. I had ECGS put an OX in the 60.

    BUT... Chase told me the Harrops are weaker than ARBs. So, I’m going to give the ARB one more shot with the new seal.

    I don’t see how that would be a problem given the CVs will grenade long before the differential. Interesting though since I heard it the other way around from some reviews.

    The only CV damage I typically see are torn boots. I guess the theory of an intentional sacrificial part would make sense to be the CV but it seems the diffs.
