    im looking to change the transmission fluid on my 2001 5 speed tacoma v6. im looking for the best type of fluid to make the transmission and shifts smoother. any suggestions?

    I use the redline and I like it but on cold start ups and such the transmission feels really weird, rough and hard but regardless since I live in AZ I really like it other than cold start ups

    Just got mine replaced with MT-90. Great improvement in shifting quality. Now I can shift it into 1 st without being scared to break the shift lever.
    It still feels notchy when shifting 1 to 2nd. I think they are poorly ingineered transmissions.

    Amazon dot Com sells the MT-90 oil for around $13 a quart with free shipping. You'll need to get 3 quarts.
