    So I blew out my stock $3 Hitachi shocks about 5 months after owning Gloria:anonymous:. Even though I could keep up and wheel with all the LT's and guys with the aftermarket dream's (it's all about the lines people;))...... it was to say the least, a brain jarring, steel clangin, teeth clacking good time! You kind of get used to it after a while, but you knew right away these stock shocks wouldn't be on for to long... we all know what it means to own a tacoma these dayso_O :rofl:

    So what to buy??:confused: Which badass, awesome set up do I want! Well after 7 months of research, experience (riding in someone else's taco and feeling the difference in the suspension), talking to those who own, driving their rig etc...I came to my conclusion!

    Where to buy it at? I pride myself on my business and believe in the worth of a man. My business is earned not given. You can buy this stuff just about anywhere these days. It took me months after owning my Gloria before I found what I was looking for @state48overland :amen:

    I cant say enough about these guys! About the owner Erick! It took just a message and phone call for me to find out where all my business was going!

    In the day of who's cool, who spends more money, "look at me," comes a business owner from my day! The days when a man was worth his weight in salt! You earned someone's respect, you made your knowledge and experience known without seeming like a douche bag. Knowledge and experience was power, not watching a Youtube video and now being an expert. Functionality over aesthetics while still looking good. When someone talks you out of spending more money because it's needless, you know your in the right place! :thumbsup:

    Thanks @state48overland for helping in making this ol' man's dreams come true! Thanks for the help with the install too! A shout out to @Coot83 @OmegaMan73 for the helping hands, hugs and good time! @Tatanka_17 for the moral support and being so cool!

    :mudding:Gloria will never be the same! The ride is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!!! It doesnt matter what anyone tells you, there is a reason people buy these baby blues, or any other high end set up. IT COMPLETELY CHANGES THE TACOMA! PERIOD! Like a whole new ride and worth EVERY PENNY! What are you waiting for @state48overland will help you like they did me and so many others! Just call Erick or visit them at state48overland.com, and I'll see you on the trail!!

    Under carriage Set up:

    King's 2.5 coils w/ adj.

    @TOTAL CHAOS UCA's

    King's Ext Rear shock w/ adj.

    @icon_rep Icon RXT 's (stock height, 1.875")

    @Plastics Guy Durobumps (4.25's in rear! ABSOLUTE MAGIC!! MUST HAVE!!)

    RCI Skids- FULL 3 (IFS, Trans, trans) steel

    Avid Offroad Sliders bolt-on, no kick. (Robust as hell, welds like a robot...IMMACULATE!)

    Nice rig, I'd love the same setup but my wallet and GF wouldn't allow it. :annoyed: Let's hear more details on how the ride quality is now vs then after you put a few miles
    on the new setup.

    We had an extra UCA bolt-cut the factory one off for speed of install, both sides are a pain

    Flipped it man. I get why it sits the other way from the factory but its not going anywhere and makes life easy to service those poly bushings now.

    My buddy Robert! They are pretty B.A. He bought it out of state for $13.5! Brand new with just a few years of sitting! Tons of room tows easy with the Taco and his 4runner!

    LMAO!:rofl:I knew they were top quality!
    Carters List of what most important:

    1. Kids
    2. Me
    3. Gloria ( My SW Beauty on Baby blue's....hehehe)
    4. Family
    5. Spam
    6. Girlfriend

    She's had the list for a while now! Ha!

    I can tell you I did 7 miles at 65mph on a road out in Maricopa. Normally its a 10-15mpg MAX!! I was going 60+ and my passenger said he could fall asleep. It's a bad rutted out, wash boarded road made especially bad by all the weird weather in AZ lately. I would of never thought Gloria could be so comfortable and smooth on a road like that, one I've taken many , many times. The difference in the 4lo wheeling is astronomical as well. Having solid compression feels AWESOME and really makes everything feel more sensitive to the driver. All that pressure forcing the tires down you can feel through the wheel and it paints a sonar like pic in my head of what is under them at that time. Hard to explain, but you can absolutely FEEL the difference on the trail and on road. Handling characteristics are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Like worth EVERY penny better! Like a different truck altogether! Having adjusters is the BEES NEES! I have been playing with them for a bit now and it truly makes a difference. Get the adjusters worth the extra dough for sure! I have over 6k offroad on those $2.50 Hitachi's and now about 200 miles offroad with the Baby blue's and already the difference makes me ask myself " Hey Dummy, why I didnt you do this sooner. The hype is real is you are cognizant of the quality of the ride on and off road. Do yourself a favor guys and START SAVING!

    LMFAO!:rofl: I just had to post it! Men doing man stuff!:anonymous: Had that Bat hook in there real good!:bananadance: Had the timing perfect on that one:cheers:

    Shit! Chris is EASY bro! :rofl:
