    When I bought mine. Checked about 2 hours ago and said there was 12. Who else bought one.

    so I guess there was a mod for this when boosting that made things work better.. Im just trying to get "tuned" in to the lingo and what people are talking about..

    Once u get that u have to register it online and then can buy credits there. Suppose to be able to get them at a discounted price. I watched a you tube video
    Of a guy doing it. Really simplified it for me.

    The different models you're likely seeing are for different combinations of included firmware upgrades (Such as the Pro Features) and pre-loaded credits.

    You'd be perfectly ok to buy a plain-Jane standard MPVI2 from any vendor you choose. They're completely universal across multiple vehicle platforms so you don't have to buy a Toyota specific one or anything like that.

    The Pro features are awesome if you're looking for some expanded logging capability to port in any analog 5v out for things like a wideband, map sensors, you name it. It's not necessary, but if it's something you want/need, you can get it at the time of purchase, or pay later to update the firmware and enable the expanded capability.

    I purchased mine with 4 pre-loaded credits. Your choice if you want to fund it up front or split the purchase.
