    OP dindu nuffin.

Find a voltmeter. Figure out "continuity" and measuring voltage with it.

In recent memory, I had a sedan w/ burned out dash lights. I yanked the dash light fuse, it looked good  Finally threw up my hands, sent it in, and the mechanic said the dash light fuse was burnt out :bananadance: FML

This site is funny. The jeep board I was on if you had a question at least 5 people would jump to help in minutes. This place just has a couple. I'm assuming most of the people here don't wrench on their own vehicles.

I've got a multimeter. I just don't have the time before I fly out in the morning and apparently there's a blizzard coming tomorrow and my windows are stuck down.

Some fuses can burn out and be really difficult to notice.

For those actually helping, thanks. For those who are not- we all have screwed up one way another. We all learn after that screw up in one way or another. Be helpful or leave- by choice or not.

U sure it's not a fuse? Mine did that too. Lights staid on, tpms etc. One lil 15a fuse was to blame.

Oh geez I'm sorry to hear that. I for one will not deal with the electrical wiring. When I bought my dashcam, I had the pros install it because I knew I would somehow screw it up.

I would think it's a main fuse that supplies all the items you listed. I know it's common sense but I would check the main fuses under the hood if you haven't already. Hope you can at least get the windows up for now. :hattip:

There's a thread a few days ago regarding same problem and after much discussion, the OP found a blown fuse and if I'm not mistaken a black wire was the culprit
Found it. Read post number 12 https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ower-windows-don’t-work.603220/#post-20307727

I really think it's gotta be a fuse too. I don't see any cut wires. I had already put a hole in the grommet in the firewall when I installed the switch pro, that I snaked wires through. There's just not a lot of stuff I messed with doing this.

OP, you checked both fuse boxes? Under the hood and under the dash?

Outside of that, if it were me, i'd start by tracing my wires I just ran to see if something close to it got messed with somehow.

If that still looks good, i'd undo what I just did and see where you are at.

Found the fuse. The main culprit is a wire though cause the fuse immediately blew again when I replaced it. Fuck.

Good luck, wish we could help more but electrical is hard to diagnose long distance. Keep us posted.

That's because most people here consider adding or removing stickers modding.

Looks like your best bet is to undo everything, make sure the fuse doesn't blow afterwards and then start over.

Disconnect your camera and try again. If that doesn't work disconnect your switch pro and try. If you can get your windows up you can try again later. :notsure:

I didn’t mess up that many things but I’ll tell you my similar story.

This happened to me after I tried feeding some wires through the firewall. First off I’m not inexperienced. I’ve built many cars over my life and many wiring projects.

After I had everything done I had some weird warning light on. I think it was something to do with the traction control. Had a code thrown as well.

I checked all of the fuses in the cab, about five times. As well as the ones under the hood. Also multiple times. Posted here. Checked the fuses again. Nothing.

Then I busted out my fluke meter and measured fuse by fuse under the hood. Guess what it was. A blown fuse. Replaced it. Nothing happened since.

Moral of the story. Check the fuses. That’s where I bet your problem is. :)

Ouch. Guess next up is start checking wires where you ran and hope to find the problem. Gonna have to either fix it or wrap it in tape and trade it on a new one

Sounds like a nightmare either way
