My Toyota type waterproof connectors came in!

    48FD4A60-E2BC-4099-BB5B-EDF238E1B596.jpg

I was going for a plug n play sort of setup but Toyota uses 1.3mm connector pins for the OEM setup which apparently have limited variety of oem connectors and almost zero third party seller options and it’s not worth sourcing some overpriced plastic connector from Toyota and pins from Toyota or elsewhere and pay shipping on top of that for both when I can get a full kit and extra pins for less.

Will the auxiliary wire ports be an option on any future runs?

Yeah. Back somewhere on page 90 something, he had some renderings of them. I’m going to add some lighting to my roof rack, so I thought it would be a great way to do it.

Ok I have a question. The KC lights have are aluminum wire and the wires that I want to make a wiring harness are copper. Will it hurt any thing to mix the two?

Sorry if it’s covered somewhere in the 100 pages of this thread, but can someone help me with how to build the wiring harness for the 3rd gen BD-4 version? What ga. Wire? Crimp size? Shrink wrap size? Etc Ideally with a coupler / QD just so I’m not working on this standing in the bed of my rig. Thanks!

I'm thinking you copied the wrong post to reply to :), I'm planning to buy copper wire though. Better conductor than aluminum.

How is everyone running the KC lights? How do you wire the break lights and bed lights in order to tie them into the truck?
