What did you drive before your Taco?

I never much minded the XtraCab since I don't have kids and the dog could climb through the center. The suicide doors in the Access Cab would make it hard to go back, love them.

 

I dont think I'll ever goto a 4 door honestly. Nobody wants to ride in my backseats!

 

Sold my 01 ram 2500 2 years back. I had it compound turbo'd which I do miss for towing things. Tacoma is more practical though for running around. Wife is mad I sold her tow vehicle though. The samurai is all Toyota. Wrangler I built for my wife.



After I put new doors/fenders and painted it.


I also still have a 03 Jetta TDI I drive for work. Wife has a 19 Acura RDX.

 

Those jeeps are sick! I want a daily too, keep miles off the toyota

 

1998 Integra GS-R that i just sold after 10 years of ownership Had it since I was 17.

 

Wife wanted a wrangler so we started with that body. I had to replace the frame from the firewall back because of rust. Put a set of super duty axles under it, 4 link rear, 3 link front, coilers, hydraulic steering and 40's. Samurai is basically the same suspension setup just Toyota drivetrain/axles with dual transfer case and 2.6L stroker.

 

That's dope, I want an actual rock bouncer/crawler

 

First cars are always hard to let go of!

 

Was never a fan of a rock bouncer. I like watching videos of them but wouldn't want one. In the future I want to build a small 4cyl turbo buggy like WErock style with rear steer and all. I enjoy the slower crawling vs the wide open bouncer.

I really want a wheelie popping sand rail, or trophy truck style rig, I just think they are bad ass. My buddy is building a pretty sick king of the hammers rig... It's "almost done"

 

I could never quite understand the point of a lowered truck, but yours sure looks good! I also have always wanted a supercharged toyota something or other. Sweet pair of rigs!

I dig the red though, I wish my taco was red. I've been thinking about wrapping it matte red, but the Matte white has been growing on me a little

My brother is also building an ultra 4 car. He's been going on 4 years though and just bought a corvette that he wants to track so he's been spending all his money on that. Maybe one day he will complete it.

His has king shocks, and a ls whatever from an old escallade. Fully custom build frame, he pretty much just used the stock j20 body, minus the bobbed bed
