Well since my rig has now been upgraded to full toy, it will only be seeing highway miles to and from the trails. You guys have convinced me to try it.

Swaybar is going to take a little break, see how it goes.

I have wheeling planned this weekend :bananadance:

I’ll give it a go as well to see how it handles. Another perspective may be good.

Wes is lighter than I am and mine is high, weight up top. Pretty much a recipe for disaster in theory. However my sway bar may be so worn and under weighted for the gear.

I wanted to removed mine for Swisha last year and thought I'll try and see what happens. One of the bolts broke because of rust and it's been off since. I'm used to it now so I don't even remember what it was like before. It's not as bad as everyone thinks.

You're right, my softer coils add to the "70's Cadilac" feel. The stiffer ones I'm sure will make it better.

You will love it on the trails.

Actually looks pretty nice. I love the Tonka toy look, and that Heep just looks like a big toy to me.

    That color though :alien:

I tried it back in 2011 with Icons and 650 lb springs. Simple slalom maneuver at 40 kph scared me into putting it back on.

I'm going to try it again when I get Icons with 700 lb springs. If it's still bad, I'll swap in a thinner 2nd gen OR sway bar and call it a day.

Well, self imposed complete fluid eradication at 100k is close.

Front/rear diff, tranny, t-case fluids all procured with associated gaskets...about 400 bux in product. Doing front brake pads and rotors (not required yet, but will be done anyway), spark plugs, new rims and tires (tires were required), rear 5100's (not required) and clutch accumulator delete mod, spark plugs.

Will also be doing rad, brake, clutch, power steering fluid drain and replace as well...think I should do the the wiper fluid refresh as well? Torn on that one.

All in is north of $2K but 1200 of that was wheels and tires.

Fluid costs alone will be in the neighbourhood of $500.

    1L T-case juice...80 bananas.

Going full Gran Turismo on this buggy!

They are an improvement over the 48,000 km interval on 2nd gen V6s.
