What size tires should I be able to run with 2888 coils which say lifts front 2.75' inches? Also lifting the back 1.5 inches with 3 AAL will the vehicle be level enough?

2nd gen Bilstiens set at zero with HS 3 leaf progressive and factory overload. Tires are subjective to what else you want to do, cab mount chop ect...20170810_164523.jpg

I went with 265/75/16's on mine, have plenty of upward travel and better traction in mud, snow. I think some guys are putting 255/85/16's on with no problems. Lot's of info on tires here ;)

Sorry guys butting in with my 2nd gen....With the Billy 5100's @+2.75" im running 285/70/17....minimal trimming on the splash guard and no issues with the body mount. Wheel spacers were required to get away from my UCA'S...Take her in to a GOOD alignment shop before chopping up your body mount it could very well save you some trouble.

    Every comment above is correct

Every comment missed one thing lol

Wheel offset and back spacing are the most critical when picking tire size.

    3 Inch lift
I bought a 2016 TRD sport that the dealer had installed a 2.75" lift and bigger wheels and tires. They had 285/65R18 Toyo Open country RT tires on simulated bead lock wheels. It rode fine and did not rub anything. They are roughly 32.5" in diameter, which is 2 inches taller than the stock 265/60R18. The problem I see is that it changes the effective gear ratio and makes it more sluggish from a stop, plus it drops the MPG by about 2 or more. I ended up putting stock size back on due to excessive noise from the Rough Terrain tires. Ideally you would want to change the gear ratio in both differentials to maintain the original effective gear ratio. These trucks are extremely under powered as it is. I am waiting for TRD to make a super charger.

You'll be waiting a while for the TRD version if it comes out at all, but Magnussen has teased late Spring to Summer 2018 for their variant.

This is with 887s and a 3 leaf AAL so 888s should be close to level.

    I run a 265/70/17 tire.
