Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Can anybody confirm for me, the injectors included as part of the Magnuson S/C are 61lb injectors? I thought they were 61lb injectors that you swap out with the stock 455s.

The ones with the maggy charger are the TRD 455cc ones. Folks are upgrading to bigger 61lb'ers

    61lb injectors are 640cc iirc

incorrect. magnuson comes with the 455cc. same as the trd supercharger ones. 61 lb are big boys u needs harness adapters to plug them in

Are 61s that much more beneficial over the supplied 455s if just running let’s say a 2.85 pulley and maybe exhaust, headers, and a better intake? I’m still in planning stages..

455 are fine. you dont even need fpr mod yet. i got 455 with 2.6 pulley and fpr mod, id be fine running a 2.5 too but im hitting 10 psi now and thats enough

I’m only looking for about 8 pounds. And all the reliability I can get and everything around it to maximize the use of the SC to begin with. Lack of real tune ability is what has held me back

With HPT there is no need for the FPR mod.

@JustDSM so i just bought an MPVI2 today and i have a question.

If I have two ECUs, one stock flash (to run with UCon), and one w/TRD tune for the s/c. Will i need 8 credits to be able to delete my sai on both of them?

theres no way with 455 injectors to run 10 psi with out upping the fuel pressure. the injectors are almost maxed out with the for mod. no tuning i the world can do that lol

My statement was more for the part throttle enrichment gained from the increase in fuel pressure. I should have been more specific.

    Technically that answer is yes.

However, while we need 4 credits on the device to allow us the ability to write, it appears HPT is not actually debiting the credits for this application yet as those that have been playing with the software still have their credits associated to their MPVI2. I suspect it’s because we’re beta testing/proofing it for them.

I suspect at this time you could do both with just 4 credits. But that’s probably going to change soon.

I plan to confirm this tonight as I have another truck to tune tonight.

with addition fueling ya. i love the fpr mod it makes sence. ill probably always leave it. i dont plan on going bigger injectors or a 7th. meth is there to cool and add some power. if im super rich ill put the 2.5 pulley on or add some more timing
