    Morning Maner! It's downright Alaskan down here right now! 43 degrees this morning, and 20 tomorrow. Heat is on. Freezes expected in the hill country. Missus is like "is nature pulling an April Fools joke on us?" Dogs are freaked out.

    So...typical Texas weather. It'll be high 80s Friday and then storms this weekend. Situation normal.

    I just moved into my new office yesterday and am still getting settled, but I’ve got an Air Force emblem flag on the wall. I’ll take a pic Monday when I’m back in and “officially” promoted.

    I’ve thought about joining the VFW, but working at the VA feels like it. We just don’t have a bar.

    Mine pays half the life membership, cost me $200 12 years ago. Never have to pay dues again. I’d say go join, you’d fit right in.

    I should have taken the pic after the new bartender showed up!! Smoking hot! My father in law is the commander, i told him i knew why he was spending so much time up there recently.

    I just bought my local bar all the flags for all the branches and replaced the pathetic 3x5 Home Depot special POS American flag with a 4x6 American made, double sided embroidered one. Now all the 3x5 branch flags are all embroidered and they lead to the 4x6 American flag. Looks pretty cool. It will be really nice on Saturdays when the guy that plays then sings the national anthem.
