Sounds like you have a choice to make then, personally I'd take the opportunity to get some summer work experience in especially if it's in your field (or the field you want to get into) since that'll really help with getting the job you want post-graduation. Degrees are good and all but most employers will hire the guy with the experience over the one that doesn't have any yet
