Looks great Ron! Did the AAL's compromise the ride quality at all?

 

Thanks Mike! Off work in 15 minutes; gonna find out and I'll let you know. What I gathered from my research was the single leaf AAL forces the arch of the stock leafs which results in a stiffer ride unless you've got a full payload in the bed or are hauling. The three leaf design is set at the same contour as the stock leafs and basically doesn't change the ride quality. Without the overload leaf you would get a little more articulation in the rear but you also risk axle wrap, so I opted to leave the overload leafs in.

 

Just to add to the wisdom pool a little bit; I have the single Deaver aal on my truck with the OL leaf left in and it feels the same as it did stock. It's an SR5, so it may be stiffer or ride differently than the TRDs do but I didnt notice a change in the feel in the back and all I have back there usually is the MX4 tonneau cover. Your truck looks great by the way, looks nice and leveled out to me.

 

Just installed the 3TPAM on my 2018 Tacoma! Thanks to State48overland & expedition essentials!

 

I pulled my door panel off to do something else but here is what the JBL speakers in the front doors look like.

 

Replaced my Halligan tool today. Gave my old one to a down and out contractor a while back.

 

I went with the sport shocks, and 886 I believe they are firm. I found the stock TRD Billy's stuff. The ride now is night and day these things are smooth as can be.

I just order the same cap today for my Silver DCLB OR that I bought last week. About 8 weeks to delivery. Can’t wait!

 

Replaced my bed rack's 3rd brake light. Smaller but much brighter than what I had before.



I forgot to take photo before I took off the old one but here it is. It worked well but it was too dim and the way I attached it looked jiggy-rigged...because it was.

I mentioned before I ordered the same cap today and that’s similar to what I paid, except I got the ARE version of windoors with sliding vented windows, and I got the head liner. That jacked the price up a bit more.
